We are a contracting firm that specialises in the conservation of historic properties and we have worked on some of the most important historic properties in the country.

We pride ourselves in offering a first class service and replicating existing standards. We have over fifty years experience working on properties in the care of the English Heritage and The National Trust and carry out projects on a repeat basis. We are the main contractors at Cardiff Castle carrying out work involving masonry repairs, glazing repairs, cast lead repairs and removal, as well as traditional roofing and specialist decoration of internal and external walls and windows.

We have carried out hard landscaping to the battlement area at Cardiff Castle and also been involved in hard landscaping on Bolsover Castle, Sutton Scarsdale Hall etc directly for English Heritage. We have carried out conservation work on Gainsborough Old Hall (pic above) that included Brickwork repairs, exterior lime wash, decoration and general maintenance as well as heating and leaded lights, including roof repairs.

We offer a range of services and our managing director, Mr Phil Turton, is involved in training and consulting around the country on historic techniques and good repair practices. Many of our operatives are not only skilled in masonry or historic properties but are competent at concrete repairs, barn conversions and new build projects where quality is paramount. We can match stone, brick and render for extension works and have a large vetted data base of sub-contractors that work for us on a regular basis.
