We recently purchased St Bernadette’s church Hall from the Catholic Church and converted this c1900 stone church hall into a fully restored stone property.
The property is not listed but it’s within the conservation area of Bolsover district and all conservation restrictions such as archeologists input on excavation. The correct use of matching materials were an important part of the restoration. We as a company are comfortable in carrying out extensions to older properties as well as conservation work.
We are proud to be the main contractor at Cardiff Castle and this is one of the largest conservation projects under way in 2005/2006. Our responsibilities are not only to carry out specialist conservation work and management of specialist sub-contractors but also to interact with the castle staff in coordinating very sensitive work while keeping as much of the castle open for the public to visit.
We recently completed a project on The Cundy House in Bolsover that is described in our projects section. This project was extremely difficult to coordinate as all the stone for this project was not commercially available and the use of local stone was imperative.
